Importing Audio into CD Spin Doctor
Once you have set up your recording, you can digitize your audio by importing it into CD Spin Doctor.
Note: There is no way of speeding up recording. For example, it takes 60 minutes to make a 60 minute recording.
To import audio into CD Spin Doctor from a turntable or cassette player:
1On your turntable or cassette player, cue the audio to the point you want to begin recording.
2 If you want to automatically stop recording after a pre-determined time, you can set the this time period by selecting the Automatically stop recording after check box, and choosing the time from the pop-up menu:
3 In the Recording sheet, click the Record button.
CD Spin Doctor begins recording.
You can edit any excess recording in your tracks later.
4 Start your turntable, cassette player (or other device) playing.
If you need to, click the Pause button to pause recording, and click the Record button again to resume. (You can flip the LP or cassette to the other side while CD Spin Doctor is paused.)
5 When you are finished, click the Stop button.
6 If you are happy with your recording, click OK to confirm. If you want to re-record, click Cancel.
CD Spin Doctor converts imports the audio as a waveform in the CD Spin Doctor Main window.
